Alan Muehlenweg - Student Minister

Alan has served as the student minister at Pleasant Hill since September 2006. He and his wife Charity have been married since July of 2001 and have one son, Ethan Patrick. Alan surrendered to youth ministry when he was 18 and has served in a variety of capacities, including interim, part-time, full-time, and until Pleasant Hill, was a volunteer on the Youth Ministry team at Southgate Baptist Church in Moore, OK. Charity is the perfect example of a help-mate; her leadership among our young ladies has been a tremendous blessing to PHBC Student Ministries.

Alan graduated from Choctaw High School in 1999 and the University of Central Oklahoma in 2004 (he crammed a 4 year degree into 5 and a half years!). Alan has worked in marketing and advertising in conjunction with serving in youth ministry.

Alan’s vision for PHBC Student Ministry is to see students accept Jesus Christ and grow to take active roles in the ministry to help other students learn about Christ.
